Ok, so this may be a totally stupid question. I tried to reasearch it but has anyone here changed out the mufflers on a 2.5 coupe? Not the entire exhaust just some mufflers that created a deeper sound? If so any links to the forum/sound clip would be great. I am fine with mine being quiet. Just some thoughts....

Not sure if anyone has done it. But def possible. Shops can just weld new mufflers on. I would def recommend a whole cat or axle back tho

I was going to do this with my 3.5 with a Borla muffler and some custom bent/welded pipes. However, shops in my area are so ridiculously priced for labor it ended up being cheaper to just buy the Borla axle back kit. Id do some extensive research before you buy any parts.

I had this done to mine. catback won't really make a difference on a 2.5, your basically just doing it for sound. I got the wider tubing, muffler, and two exhaust tips for around $200. However, i got tired of the tips and bought some new ones (4 inch tips), just waiting for them to come in.
