I dont think you will notice a difference between 2,5"and 3" with stock boost...

oh really? what if i decided to boost up even a little? would it make a difference then? because since my sr20 isnt going to be putting out over 250 hp i wouldnt think i would need a 3" exhaust. but then again thats why im asking im not sure.

2.5 inch would be fine for 250, you "might" lose a couple but the design of the piping would probably have about the same effect.

Afterall, the S15 Silvia with 250HP does not run 3 inches. It won't hurt the turbo to run something less than 3 inches. Though you would obviously gain something with straight, larger diameter piping.

man just go 3" and dont worry about it , why but 2.5 when you can buy 3" for same amount and if you already got 2.5 just sell that old exhaust and buy a new one its always nice to have newer stuff !

haha its always better to have newer stuff, only thing is that i have a custom exhaust so i dont know who would want to buy it. Oh well 3 " seems to be what everyone is saying and you cant argue with that.
