2.5 in exhaust and 3" test pipe fitment??!
2.5 in exhaust and 3" test pipe fitment??!
Ok I never had to do this, but for some reason I can't get the fitment right on my 96 240...I bought a 2.5" exhaust and since I can't seem to find a 2.5 highflow cat I was going to ebay just to grab a 3" resonator just to get the car home. I ordered 2 so called highflow cats from companies that stated that they were 2.5 but once Igot em they were to small and now i'm getting angry. I noticed customer service at these places have no idea what they are talking about. sorry about the rage, sooo can someone tell me what will fit exactly so I can go buy it in person this time.

I also know that the flanges have to meet up, but that's been the issue...not many places sell highflow cats here so it's been hard ordering one online. it is a 2 bolt flange!

I can have the moderator take this down, the guy I bought the exhaust from told me the joint was 2.5 and since I have the exhaust sitting in a garage a few towns away I could'nt double check, but come to find out it's 3inches.
