Yes, both cars have the QR25DE motor. The headers should fit fine, the problem is the down pipe. From my understanding, it is different in the Sentra, thus a header and down pipe from a Sentra wouldn't fit our coupes.

Yeah, that was the information I found also.. So..................I'm waiting patiently for a company to try and tackle this beast and get a header made specifically for the altima!

Just call them up and ask for someone in the research and development department. Explain to them that you know hundred of 2.5L owners that would be down to buy this product if they were to produce it and did they have any plans for development. If they say yes, let them use your car for the r&d and they will produce

The issue would be the down pipe.

Honestly dude, I would go there and speak with the receptionist. He/She will either direct an r&d person to come down and speak with you, or you can get r&d or marketings direct number

Would changing the headers make the exhaust rattle? Or would it make any other annoying noises? I went in today, but nobody was available to talk... so the receptionist gave me a direct number to call. As long as nothing annoying will come out of this, I'll follow through

I know this thread is pretty old, but stillen makes header combos for both engines.

of coarse anything less restrictive will give more hp around 15-20hp but you have to do it the right way high flow catlystic convertor by eastern 50+$ a cat back exhaust magna flow for around 400$ and lets not forget the air filter which should be at the minimum a k&n for around 50$ that fits into stock air box i would say thats around 40 hp for 600$ you doing the work

Sentra guys were highly recommending this mod, turns out our precat has a tendency to get ceramic dust in the engine, the best way to correct this is to replace the exhaust manifold. The Sentra forums also stated the header was good for about 12hp & 12 ft-lb tq at the wheels from this mod w/ air intake combined, so it's definitely worth it.

You might get 20 hp out of ALL these mods. Definitely not 40.

quite a few people on sentra forums were saying 15...as crappy as most people say the intakes are for our cars, I don't think we'd even get 20 out of I/H/E!

Thankfully, I didn't buy the car for its performance, I'd just like a little something extra.

The 2.5 exhaust is pretty restircted i do know that. so opening that up would def help out a lot. i think i safe guess would be 20+/- from I/H/E.

Also.. are there any updates on the headers?

I think you mean 5-6 times the price... The headers are supposed to be around $500-$600 and the turbo is gonna be somewhere between $3000-$4000 last i heard
