so i have a custom magnaflow cat back, but when i got it done the shop started the pipping after the flat piece & the cats, (sorry... thought it would of started from the header since that has the biggest cat lol)so 2day i got the brilliant idea "Wat if i get a shop to make me a custom pipe where i can easily unbolt the stock cats and bolt on the pipe & for whatever reason if i need my cats back on i can bolt em on from home?" only thing I'm wondering "is there a second o2 censor or anything on any of those cats that would prevent me from doing this task easily???

there is one o2 sensor in the catalyst (header/exhaust manifold)

according to the FSM- http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Altima/2008/ex.pdf (page 6)

u should be perfectly fine! just don't forget to connect the grounding cable!

hope this helps!
