So, i was going to get the 2.5 with premium at msrp. i ended up negotiating $2200 off so the price was at invoice. since i was ready to pay msrp i decide to get the same deal on a 3.5 and the dealer agreed so i signed for a 3.5 with premium, kickplates, mats for $29500 total.

Problem is they didnt have my car at the dealer and he said it would take 2 months to get from the factory. so he is going to trade with another dealer. is this normal or am i going to be in trouble?

Well anyway.. if all goes well ill have a new silver or white auto in a few days and will post pics...

Very nice!

Dealer trades are quite common. Nothing to worry about. If its available then they can usually make the trade it less then a week depending on location.

Trades between dealerships are a common practice, but you're the one who gets stuck with the bill. Usually your dealership will pay the other dealership an extra 5 bills, and that gets tacked onto your final sale price. But, it'll be worth it if you get the exact car you want.

I spoke to the dealer again to verify this and he told me that the cost of shipping the car is included in the deal and there would be no extra fees. Hopefully he's tellin the truth :D

yeah, NY, especially Long Island, the coupes are going like wild fire. The dealer i got mine from, i waited 2 months for factory order. He said that every coupe that hit inventory was already spoken for, for like the next 4 months

I just picked up my baby a week ago. I went to 3 dealers around my area and compared prices. the one where i got the deal from gave me the price of $28,800 for 3.5 SE Navi, Tech, VDC, kick plates, floor mats, and splash guard. basically every option available. they made a mistake by matching with another dealer. but the first dealer didnt give me VDC. when i got the car, instead of having kick plates and splash guards, they gave me deflector. i know that i'm gonna have them put the plash guard & kick plates on, but should i take tell them about the deflector?

GV, we're about 20 mins from each other. where did you go to get your car? i got mine from North Olmsted Nissan.

wow nice deal!! did you finance or pay cash??

I am getting the mats, wind deflector and kickplates but i didnt want navi and vdc cus i want a portable navi.

I am pickin it up from north olmstead as well btw .

i dont think they have much choice when it comes to the small things like mats and all.. i looked around all the neighboring states car dealrs myself and there are very few options....i didnt want the car mats and kick plates and deflector but oh well...

Damn looking around it seems that I got a smoking deal...I ended up paying $25,400 after a dealer trade and it was the only 3.5 6spd coupe I could find in the valley. And I got it The week after they were released aboutr 2-3 months ago, I just sent in my third payment.

Strange that we both went to the same dealer when there were so many others nearby :Dalso, i got some glue marks on the car from the protective stuff that was on it. any idea how to remove it? i tried with water and towel but it smears...
