I went to show off my new coupe to my dad, who lives in da hood of B-more.

If you know B-more, you know it has the worse kept streets and cribs in the nation...aka pothole city...the city the does not read...second highest teen pregnancy...hah, but I digress!

The ride down one street was so bumpy, that it was like 35 speed bumps in a row.

LOL. You ever talk when someone is doing the massage chops on your back and your voice sounds like you are speaking directly into a fan??? This is how bad it was going down that street...lol.

Driving home, I started realizing that I'm feeling every little *** bump. If I ran over an ant, I'd probably feel that too...lol.

Please tell me that the suspension or shocks, after they break in, will produce a much smoother ride OR that I can buy some after market upgrade that will make my pops proud?

Man, I was actually embarrased.

Pops said there was too much air in the tires...he almost had a third heart attach...damn ride.

Somebody give me some good news!

PLEASE!

My ride is fine, but texas roads are in good condition. I dont think there would be any smoother suspension then the stock ones. It might be the air in your tire like your dad said. or maybe you crack your suspension in a pothole? that would SUCK haha

I don't think you would've damaged any suspension parts from potholes. How much air do you have in your tires? Keep it between 32-35 and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks guys,

I'll check. Whatever air is in there was put in there by the dealership.

Any car that you drive down a road of that nature is going to cause a bad ride. The coupe doesn't exactly have a super soft ride, its not a luxury vehicle. Your tires MAY be over inflated as was already suggested. Is the ride bouncy?

I never had such a bumpy ride in my life...and this from someone who just rode a 97 Altima 170,000 miles until the wheels fell off.

So, I'll check the tires. It can't be that bad.

The ride is smooth as butter on smooth roads.

I live in NE Ohio (Snow belt) so you can imagine how bad the roads are up here, but all in all I find the ride acceptable (certainly better my my old Z)

And the END OF THE STORY!!!

Took me a while to check the wheel pressure.

Came in at 45!

So I took it down to 35.

Will let you know how it goes.

Ole 78-year old pops knows what's up! I keep forgetting he used to be a mechanic back in the day!

Anway...big up!

Thanks fellas!

45psi!!!! Dude, IT WAS just the pressure. I keep mine at 35, but I think Nissan recommends 32. 32 is a bit soft for me though.

Ahhhhh! Much better bros!

That's what the problem was. I'm going to the dealership today to attend some new orientation mess, but I'm going to bust their chops about the tire pressure.

Thanks guys,Mad
