2.5 a/c fog light questions!

Hey guys, I've got an 08 A/C 2.5s with convenience package (not prewired). I'm wanting to get OEM fog lights but need help deciding which ones to get and if there is a way of getting a new steering wheel stalk for fog light control? Please help a fellow member!

Okay just a few quick questions.

1. Do you know for sure that you are not prewired? I have the 2.5s with convenience package and I AM prewired for fogs, mirrors etc. If you aren't sure than I know a very quick way to check without getting under the car or anything.

2. Do you have automatic-on (Auto) headlights?

Okay if yes to these questions than the installation will be SIMPLE.

How can you tell if you're prewired? And yes I have auto lights..

alright, this youtube video is kinda sucky, but I just came across this and it's really clear on how to know if you're prewired. Start at minute 1:50 if you want to skip a lot of crap.

If you have two wires coming out of the "empty slots" than you're prewired and you should have two cables already wired down to the inside of your bumper and stuff

So glad to find this post. I've been thinking/looking at fog lights as well. Hopefully my car is pre-wired!! What kind of fogs have you been looking at? I don't know much about this stuff so any advice would be great.

You've got a few choices. You can buy OEM from your nissan dealer or several dealership websites online. You can buy oem-style lights on ebay for pretty low cost, just search Altima coupe fog lights on ebay. Or you can buy projector style with our without halos etc. I have a set of projector fog lights with halos coming in today in the mail and hopefully they'll be arriving here in the next couple hours
