2.4 16v floods and runs rich

Hi, A Newbie & ve a Hardbody 2.4 16v 03 model South African assembled 200 000km on the odo with what I assume to be fuel related issues. The car runs rich, symptoms; black carbon deposits and wet spark plugs. It also hesitates on rapid accellaration, jerks and severely loses power. It also dies with headlights switched on. I pulled code 085 system normal on Autoboss v30 and can't figure out what this means. I also cleaned the Maf sensor and noticed a slight improvement. Can someone pliz help. Pardon me for such a long post I'm a Pastor and used to long sermons kkkk.
