I think most springs will only go 1-1.5 inches.

Many folks are riding on JIC coils but there is also a write up of sorts on how to swap to full S13/14 suspension

I dont know if megan makes springs for Q's but they drop two inches. Thats the highest drop I have heard a spring alone do.

A good set of coilovers will be your best and cheapest option. Air suspension kind've sucks if you live in the Northeast and have to deal with cold winters.

Coilovers won't be your cheapest option.

Lowering springs and some good shocks are.

And that car doesn't need a 3" drop, it needs a 1.5 - 1.8" drop.

I got ebaich lowering springs on OEM shocks (two inch drop). Wes has some cali custom springs cheap.Just rent the spring compressor from autozone, but when you put them back on, use wire coat hanger, yes wire coat hangers to keep the spring compressed when you put them back on. Then cut the wires when its mounted. It sounds crazy, but it works! I just did it while replacing a bad bushing.

i found a set of insurance springs and kyb sr's . so that will give me a 1.8 inch drop. i was told cutting i inch off the springs would give it a 2 1/2 drop. might just wanna try the 1.8 first / guys i know you like it low but i dont want it to ride like a honda accord with cut springs... lol

Any lower than 2 inches and you can kiss your oil pan, and your car goodbye around here.
