If I were to get the Toda 2.2L Stroker or the JUN 2.2L Stroker, what kind of gains would I be expecting.

I realize with the forged pistons, rods, etc, I will be able to boost higher, and the lower compression will help that too. But what kind of torque gains would I be seeing, would my turbo spool any faster?

And most of all, do you think the kits are worth it? I want to build a great SR, and I have the funds, I just want to plan out what I want.

Out of the two companies, what one would you suggest. And prices may influence my decision as well ;) I've heard the JUN kit is a more expensive...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was going to use the Toda kit but have changed my mind. With the increased displacement, your turbo would spool faster and you would see torque gains. It just depends on what size turbo you are using. From what I have seen, the JUN kit is a bit more expensive than the Toda kit. They are both nice kits though. Just make sure that when you build the engine, build the head at the same time to take advantage of the motor.

2.2L stroker won't go in alone. You may have to do headwork etc, but dont forget that you will have to resleeve and bore the block to fit that 87mm piston without cylinder flex.

Additionally you'll want to do extensive headwork as the stroke lowers your redline.
