Does anyone know where I can find the stroker kit for the RB20det. I think Tomei has it, and I visited their website but didn't find a kit. Whats is needed to make this conversion work? I hear it makes it 270hp.

you can make that with a big T3 and a few boltons. If all you want is 300hp don't waste the money on a boreup, it's not needed.

Wouldnt that big t3 cause big big lag?

Tomei stroker kit is expensive. Many thousands of dollars.

Supposedly, you need the gtr crank and rods. I dunno what else is required for 2.2 or 2.4

The Tomei 2.2 is overbored 2L so it would be pistons... not a stroker.

upgarde the turbo and injectors and you are well over 270hp....don't bother with a stroker kit....

Thanks guys for the info. Though it sounded good, but even if its for the pistons its around 1grand. I rather put it to better use.

As I said, for the power levels you want a stock longblock can do it, a little more boost and adequate fuel.

50 hp from upgraded turbo and injectors...internals start aching at anything over 0.9 bar of boost on rb20's...which is 13.23psi

I have always found the stock turbo to be the weakpoint on th RB20-25s. More specifically with the 20s they run hot so adequate cooling. I can tell what engine a Skyline has just by feeling the temperature of the hood. Spending some coin on a quality radiator and an oil cooler would go a long way towards keeping the 20 happy when you turn up the wick.
