2.0 Engine problem(Primera)

I bought a used 1997 Primera and have not had peace, the engine is always giving me problems, Its twincam and the valves are always developing problems. Its always jumping timing. Whats should I do?

Valves don't magically develop problems. Do you rev it out a lot? Have you tried resetting the timing with a timing light?

When you say jumping time - Are you refering to cam timing? If so you need to make sure your timing chain tensioner, and chain guides are in proper working order. If ignition timing won't stay set(assuming you are setting it correctly) - You need to proceed to testing sensors that can influence timing such as temperature, and tps sensors for starters.
