1st to 2nd generation altima MAF?

hi...I have a 95 nissan altima, 5speed...I have CAI, and now Im trying to use a MAF from a 2nd generation 98 nissan altima...I know that bought car have KA24DE engines, Is there anything else I need to change to get this conversion to work, are the wiring harness of both MAF the same? the reason I asked is, After I install the 2nd generation MAF to my 95, the engine runs kinda rough, it didnt die out, but it sounds/feel like it dying, the idle is rough and low....any help/advise would be great..thk you,julius
