Sorry about the bragging, just so excited. So today I last minute decided to AutoX my car for the 1st time. Holy Crap that was AWESOME! For those who dont know me, the only other time I auto crossed was 5+ years ago, 1 lap in Dustys 2.5 RS (Thanx again). That when pretty well. Today though when awesome! Wait I said that already, any ways. My mods to the car where given no thought to classing. I dont really care about classing, I just wanna have fun & if I place than (& I did place). I was in BSP (B class, street prepared). This field included cars like S2000, STI (on slicks), two other 350Z (1on slicks) & more. First time out, in a total of 6 run only hit 1 cone on final lap. Not perfect but not bad. At the end of it I finished 3rd place in BSP. I was beatn by the STI on slicks (other mods unknown) & the 350Z on slicks. The Z had HR motor with Stillen intake, Stillen headers, Hi-flow cats, HKS exhaust, & tuned; Tein Mono flex coilovers, Hotchkis swaybars, Stillen camber kit with 3 deg. neg camber front & 2.5 rear, & did I mention on 295 slicks F/R. I was only 3 seconds off him. I will try to post standings when available.

Glad you had a great time in your 350. Where in the country are you because in the Kansas City, MO area we don't have our first event until the middle of March - to cold. I have autocrossed previously in an 05 350 and 07 350. Now I have an 09 Nismo 370Z and had a great time with it. the 05 and 07 I ran is BS and then BSP. The Nismo is classed in AS with no street prepared yet so I ran it in SSM - Super Street Modified. All were on street tires. Just FYI - slicks are not allowed in autocross, those tires had to have at least one grove such as Hoosiers or Kuhmos, etc. I know it's hard to compare autocross times but what we do here to compare how you (the driver) are doing is use a PAX time. this is given based on a formula (don't know how it works) but it takes the car out of the equation and just shows how you rate against the other drivers, especially the real hot shoe ones.

AX is alot of fun. That black 350Z's wheel setup reminds me of my own.

And I envy you people that can get a Quaife HLSD without needing to get different halfshafts prior to the install. ;)
