hello everyone,

My name is Marvin and I just got my first 240. I traded my turbo civic hatch for the 240. Car came with a blown sr, another blown sr, and a bunch of other stuff.

Since the sr in the car was already blown i decided to go ahead and a simple rebuild, and now its turned out to be a little more then what i expected.Parts list:87mm cp pistonsmanley rodsfull rotating assembly balance and blueprintarp head studscomplete head jobbc springs and retainershks 272 step2 camsisis intake manifold550 cc injectors

Thats it for now, the engine is machine shop getting put back together. The things left are turbo and ecu. My short term goal is 400 rwhp. As of right now I am still trying to decided on what turbo to go with. Choices are fp's 20g, gt2871r with .84 housing, or maybe a sc61. The car will be used for drag racing. What turbo would you guys recommend using. Also the car came with a enthalpy ecu.

2871r is a pretty popular choice, search for codyace's thread... titled somethin like 400 whp on stock block He did it with a .64 AR and some extrude honing. Also, you need some pictures.

I like my 2871 but for drag I would deffinatley go bigger. And yes, get bigger injectors. Honestly there's not much power to be made with sr's on a complete head job. Just deshroud the valves and polish. No real porting nescessary.

i do plan on getting a set of bigger injectors, just using those 550 because those came with the car. Thinking about doing a top feed injectors set up and going with nistune. Ultimate goal for the car is to run mid 10s. Don't expect to do that till late next year.

i personally would go t3t4 top mount 50trim stage 3 wheel ,.60,.63 AR and don't even bother with bb cause well you blow it you buy a new one where i can just have mine rebuilt .IMO And 800cc injectors .
