so i baught a s13 motor from jdm-online.com. then i got the harness done from heaveythrottle.com now the motor is in and the harness is all hooked up. tried to start it and it turned over but wouldnt start. so check over the spark issue and only the fourth cylender was fireing. but each wire has voltege flowing threw it. so i herd it could either be the CAS, egniter chip, or the ECU. but how the i check without haven to buy all new ones or if anyone else thinks it could be something else could you please let me know. thanks

when you say "s13 motor, do you mean an SR20DET? If so you can do continuity tests on the ignitor and CAS. I don't know how on an SR but it shouldn't be too hard to figue out.

i should prolly mention this to.... i have one plug that goes to nothing now i talk to the guy at that did the harness and he said that it plugs into the fuse box and its for the speedo sensor, alt, and something else. i cant quite remember the colors off the top of my head, but i think theres a black with yellow, black with white maybe, and 2 others its a small square four prong ill have to look again on the colors sorry.

Did you make sure you bolted in the ecu connector. I have seen people just try to "plug in" to try and then forget to bolt it in.
