1st Purch G35... Nav package, backup cam, laser cruise.... worth it ??

Hey Guys... its me again... thanks for responding so well to my previous post asking for opinions...

Now I have another question, and it possibly comes down to user preference.

For those of you that purchased the nav or electronics package... Do you find yourself using the nav package ?? Or is it something that you play with for a month or 2, then get tired of?? I do like the backup camera, just to make sure you arent going to run over the kids bike, or the wife... and I do see that you would use the laser cruise, I guess like any other cruise control system...

So whats your opinion on getting the nav package ??

i use my nav everytime.. because it does more than tell you where to go... i.e..... it tells you when to make your oil change... gas mileage.. when you're running with your foot brake on ( yep, actually beeped and an error message came out saying my brakes were on ).. among others.. i see a lot of people driving with portable navs stuck to their windsheilds here... just goes to show everyone wishes they had the nav system...

I have a portable nav. Mine costs 250 vs the 2200 for the factory, and I can transfer it between several cars. However, If I was looking used, and the car had it, it would be a plus.

There was an article here about the problems with the laser cruise control. I don't remember which forum it was in but it recommend against it. I searched for it and got a link to a different thread than the one I'm thinking about. Someone remember it? I think it was a staff article.

I would think the back-up camera is worth it. Wish I had one on my coupe.

I didn't really want the nav. I didn't (and still don't) think I needed it and didn't want to pay for it. I ended up getting it since the price was right on the car as a whole. I think it has cool features and I like the back up camera. Now I'm glad I got it.

I didn't want the tech package since all of my driving is in the city and I have no use for cruise control. The lights are cool though.

I like the Nav. I use it all the time as well, especially for getting the phone numbers for places when I'm on the go. I also got it for resale value. The market for a car without a Nav in a few years will be small. I love the backup camera too. I didn't get the laser cruise control though
