ahhh problem!!!i was going to school this morning with my window rolled down in my with my new sr. well while driving in a stright line in an open road i hear something drop and go clank under my car, right after that my exhaust started to sound really ugly on low rev. well i look in my rear view mirror to see what it is and i couldnt find the damn thing even though i stopped and looked for an hr. well just to play it safe i went back home and i switched cars. Well after school i went home and immidiately took my car to the mechanic nearby. Well he said it was the exhaust but he wasnt sure bc he would have 2 lift the car. Im pretty sure its the exhaust but im not sure what part thatd be missing would make my car sound like that. any ideas/suggestions?? thanks

Anytime a bolt falls off the car is makes the sound you described. I would check all the nuts and bolts first. Possibly around the downpipe to O2 extension.

Well if the exaust starting sounding odd after the incident then common sense would say there's an exaust leak somewhere, exaust problems arn't that big of a deal...RTV sealant can fix anything, it's almost as useful as zipties...almost

that happened to mine . I had to make custom brakets for mine because if i didnt the exhaust would rub up agianst the gas tank. So if a bolt falls out then i get a differnt tone , along with alot of vibration.
