Thought I'd add a helpful tip.
Volunteered to work on my daughters 2004 Murano with transmission problem. Found a huge possible problem that can affect all the cars of this series I feel.
That is badly corroded battery ground cable, where the wire is swagged into the eye that is under the battery tray, that attaches to the frame and transmission.
That could create a voltage drop, and effect all the electronics in the vehicle.
Its a slow progressing project working on this thing, as I am attempting an overhaul of the CVT. No one in my area rebuilds or works on CVT's as far as I know.
