Welcome to NICO.

First thing you would make is check everything in your car, fix any issue you find in it, start reading all the stickies in nico forums and the most important thing... buy a flame suit as soon as possible. You will learn the reason soon enough

First off you have a KA24DE. 'D' stands for double overhead cam. First year for that was '91.

You could probably get a better response from the KA forums, rather than the KA-T. Most of us who post here have turbocharged the KA so I think the response will be obvious.

Honestly if I had to do it over again I would've saved the money I spent on intakes and ECUs and put it all towards getting a turbo kit faster. If you want to turbo in the future, make sure you buy things that will transfer over. Your intake will not, header wont. Pretty much anything else will work, however.

Read as much as you can and also check out northwest nissans.

Make sure it runs solid first.

If i were you i would do the basics first. Do an oil change, and a full tune up. Plugs, wires, distrib cap and rotor. Change your fuel filter.

Lift the car up in the air and check your CV boots for cracking or tears. Shake your tires down and see if there is any play in your steering.

After that, id take it to a carwash while we still have some decently warm weather and put a coat of wax on her.

do your belts, hoses, motor mounts, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, valve cover gaskets if there's a leak, and seals to get the car running right.

So you get the idea, refresh the motor before you start splurging on parts. The KA is a surprisingly fun motor even in stock form when its running at efficiency.

Most stock 240's I have driven are sluggish and its disregarded as just a crap motor, you should see peoples faces after a stupid little tune up and general maintenance.
