I saw all of them and liked it a lot. I was surprised his transmission made it to 186k miles without CVT fluid change. I am waiting on his next video for the CVT tear down and maybe learn new things about our CVT.

Does anyone know what the usual mode of failure is for the Nissan CVT? I recently had mine replaced on my 2012 rogue at 125LK miles, after fluid changed evry 60K. I'm going to a 30K fluid schedule to see if that prolongs its life. When I asked the dealership what usually fails, they just shrugged their shoulders and said "we don't know. we just ship them back to Nissan and get freshly rebuilt units back in stock"
