Does anyone have a 90-96 Q with 2002 Q wheels (18s)? I heard a guy from the old NICO site had bought some but I haven't seen any pictures. If someone has them on or has seen them what did you think?

I was wondering the same thing. The local Infiniti Dealership will sell me a full set of 2002 Q45 silver 18" wheels for $1000. Then of course I have to buy tires as well. For a couple hundred dollars more than the total package I might as well get a nice set of dep-dish chrome 18" rims with tires.

I think they are only 7.5" wide rims. Neither do I think they are forged.

Might check with Joe Tesensky or Tom at Lisle.

Just had a bit of fun with Photoshop putting some '02 Q45 18" rims on a '91 Q45 along with some lowering and a small lip spoiler. Enjoy!!!

On bump stops?? Is that why my car keeps making a thump sound every time I hit a marginal bump in the road? :D Anyways, I plan on goin with a Rod's Pro-Hopper Hydrollic suspension kit. A local shop in my area will do a full kit for my car for $1700..with a full warrenty. And for those out there that cringe at hydrollic suspension...its not THAT kind of hippity-hop stuff. Sure its called a Pro-Hopper, but thats just the name. You end out with a slightly stiffer suspension feel from stock whilst being able to use your springs or coil-overs. Its a sweet kit. You get full front/back/side/side and pancake movement. I'm not gonna go for all that though. I just want up and down. Low for showin off and high for those damned 2 foot wide speed bumps we have around here. ARGH!!!

And that retains full suspension travel? Please post photos of this setup. What coilovers are you using?

The Pro-Hopper kit does maintain the full suspension travel if you have it raised up. Suspension travel will however get shorter the more you lower it. Whenever you lower any car thats a given. Right now I'm using custom ordered Weapon-R coil-overs with Tokico blue struts. Its a smooth ride until I get into downtown Portland. Pot hole city baybeh! I'll see if the shop can get me any more info for the Pro-Hopper kit.
