The other day I was waiting (in our 92Q-daughter asleep in the backseat) for my wife to go pickup some things over at The Grove (local de-luxe mall). We happend to park next to a 95 LS 400. Now that some time has gone by since the arrival of these new upmarket brands, I find it amazing how Toyota like the LS400 is. I think the Q has aged very well, while the LS strikes me now, as just another Toyota. I sat there studing how the door handles, window switches, vents and other interior hardware could be found in any low line Toyota. Plus the overall design of the exterior sooooooooooo boring! So glad we have a Q!

Amen, I like my Q better now than I did when I got it 13 years ago

I like the look of all the Q's...except the new one - hasn't grown on me yet. My wife thinks I'm crazy 'cause I wash my Q every weekend...gotta keep it clean 'cause I never know when I'm gonna pull up next an LS400 or BMW. Gotta make sure the Q is sparkling...I test drove a 96 LS 400 when I was looking for a car last year - I was in a buyer's mode and almost got it but the wife didn't like it. Thank Goodness !!! She loves the Q. Now that I see the LS 400's they look like something my grandfather shoudl be driving.

Yep - and most of the ones I see are poorly maintained... Several have depreciated down into the high-school crowd, and those are really sad looking.

$2K in chrome rims (but needs $6K in maintenance).

LS400 looks good in black, at night.

But the Q looks good in every color, in bright sunshine too!
