hello, does anyone know how the top of the center console is removed? does it just pull up?

The part I am referring too is the one with the cup holders and the shifter. it goes from the front of the arm rest to just under the section with the climate controls and passenger airbag lights.

I would assume removing the "horse collar" around the shifter is the first step and probably pulling out the piece that has the Climate control/airbag light. but does the rest of it just pry up?

The last time I pull that is a while so I don't know the exact number of screws, but there are definitely 2, one on each side near the rear of the center console that you have to remove. There might be more screws near the front, but once you got that remove, along with the climate control and the shifter panel, you should be able to just pull the console up and out.

The entire center console can be pull out.
Also, make sure both side panels below the radio are removed before pulling.
