No, it just feels really slow. Very slow acceleration as if I wasnt giving it gas. If that makes sense.hazw8st wrote:Is the car bogging or is it cutting off? Does it feel as if it was running out of gas?
No codes.......hmmmm.... has the car been recently tuned or worked on?yoshiooo6 wrote:No, it just feels really slow. Very slow acceleration as if I wasnt giving it gas. If that makes sense.
Its been doing this since I bought it over a year ago. I recent ly had the tensioner replaced, and all fluids flushed. The car has been very well maintained, and my only issue is this laggy 1st gear and the 18mpg I get on the highwayhazw8st wrote:

Its an all the time thing. I drove all summer to schaumberg and back for work. Im really dont think weather has anything to do with it. I 1st experienced the problem in the summer time after the long drive to or from work.vishesh wrote:are you sure it is fully warmed up? chicago winters do quite a number on this car (i'm also in chicago) and i notice the exact same thing as you described. i don't know that much about cars, but my theory is that either the transmission or torque converter slips entirely when it is that cold. you should try to duplicate this after the car has been driven for a while (not just a quick run around the block, that doesn't count...more like after having driven home from work)
