hell yeah, I damaged a bushing or something and bent a tie rod. I had taken the car in to have it looked over, realizing that drifting on old suspension may not be that healthy for it. and the belts were about to come off. I guess they didn't take as good of care of it as they said. anyways, she's healthy now, after about $500 bucks total, and it's on like donkey kong!

Now I'm thinking I should do suspension first. it'll push the sr back a few months, but no biggie, I'm looking at august now for a full install at a shop. earlier if I can get some knowledgeable people together, and grow a pair myself. See ya'll at the JIC checkout line!

I fail to see the correct use of the word "casualty."

I was thinkin this would be a link to news report of some kid who was "drifting" and died. Heh, glad it is just about your car. Good luck with your setup.

LOL - Agreed. One less out-of-control car with insufficient liability insurance on the road HARDLY qualifies as a casualty.

Best wishes with your repairs and mods, AJ. :D

damn, well sorry for misleading you guys and not being interesting enough (:D )

I'm still used to my eclipse, everything that breaks on that bastard is a casualty, cuz the car doesn't run!

definitely a good point, good thing it didn't take much for me to learn my lesson, what would've happened with 250hp?

LOL - Parts is parts (but they're still expensive).

Glad you didn't "drift" into something you couldn't afford to repair! :D

AZ,We all know you don't like drifting. Why do you insist on coming back to the drift threads to post? Just let it be. If you are worried about the "scene" in general, I think you are worried about the wrong subcategory. Street racing is still a bigger problem than drifting.

So please, just drop it. I'm tired of seeing your posts putting down drifting in a "polite" way.

Ouch. :(

Since I respect your opinion, Buud, I'll take your suggestion into consideration.

I'm not trying to fight with you, it's not like I'm some hardcore 1337 dorifto slideways uber-driver. But, it is popular, it does look cool, it is fun, it does take skill and it does make money.

Sounds like every other form of car racing doesn't it?

Just respect the drifters and go back to hating on the trailer queens.
