Yeah i love my welded diff, and when i'm in parking lots people look at my car like "Either that is a piece of crap, or rediculously fast" lolSave up an by some used coilovers. If you replace with lame suspension, you'll regret it and end up goin coilovers any ways. like me, I got kyb struts, and hated how High my car was and the ride, so I got brand new stance gr+pros, and I LOVE THEM, best 1200 I ever spent.

i should save up for coil overs.

but then again,

i should also save up for the c18det swap,or the xxr eight spoke oldschools,or the silvia front end swap,or the helmet so i can race SCCA instead of the street,or pay the fee get rid of my baldtires sitting in my apartment,....

money is pointless....im gonna go for a drive now and get happy about my car again.

thats awesome im waiting for my friend to come back to weld my diff. You can buy a helmet for SCCA their not that much (150-300) depends on what company, G-force is very inexpensive. Save for coilovers dont spend your money on springs and shocks, you will regret it later.

Yeah dont even waste your time/money with springs and struts because the money you spend on them you could have saved for coils. Looks like a good time though, i still have yet to try a welded diff.

Coils, seat, steering wheel, weld diff.

Those are the bare minimum that any car that you're trying to drift should have.

But I suggest buying subframe collars/bushings.

The loud squealing that the tires produce will mitigate quite a bit if you run higher end tires.

Cheaper tires squeek, higher end ones skuff.

Awesome grip and if you get snow you will be very glad you have it locked .

Oregon has crappy winters and with new tires I was able to go everywhere

without studs which was awesome.

lol on the parking lot , I live an apartment and people thinking Im peeling

out and Im like doing zero and they are all staring at me

What comes stock in a s13 is not a seat.

It's a torture device.

I hate the stock steering wheel also.

It's not as bad at the seat.

With a bucket seat, the stock wheel sucks and is too far away for my tastes.

Trying to drift while trying to keep yourself from sliding around sucks.

Being comfortable helps a lot.

*cough cough*

im don't rattle around too much when im drifting with stock seat, and i prefer stock se wheels =)

wanna keep it mostly stock looking....that way when i drop some power into.i can go sleeper mode.

plus 240's with too much done to them look funny. im not about to be a

any opinion on the ksport coils? thats my list so far,

is megan track coils, ksport coils,or tanabe s oc (something like that)...

ive heard bad things about ksports, but ive also heard that they got better. people are still scared away from them though.

tons of people use megans. good entry level coilovers. id get the streets though. 12/10 is way too aggressive of a spring rate for a street car.

dont know much about tanabes. i was going to get some over megans but they dont go very low - no thank you.

id get powered by max/parts shop max, whatever you wanna call it. they're like $1000, so not much more than megan, but i've heard nothing but good things about them. http://poweredbymax.net/

Stance work well and they are cheap.

That's like what most people live for on here.
