Hey guys, ive searched computer forums. I'd rather ask you guys. I want to build a pc that I can multitask like no ones business with. I will link what I have come up with so far.I will be running lots of websites, music playing, and some engine management software. Help me look for flaws in my build or if I can save some $ somewhere. The mobo is what I am kind of lost on. I'd like the mobo to be reliable and have a built in video card, I will be using to watch blu-ray's via hdmi to my tv. So clue me in on that. Also, is wifi included with the mobos?

LInks:
Case-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6811164061

Mobo- Recomend me on to me for that cpu, onboard video and atleast 4gb ram

CPU-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6819103808

RAM-Will pick that once MOBO is decided upon.

HD: I have a brand new western digitial 500gb 7200rpm sata

Blu Ray drive-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6827106325

I have all the monitors, keyboard, mice etc and fans.

Input please.

** Possible mobo? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813138167

I judge a case by two things...
- Aesthetics (opinon)
- Ergonomics (Or how well it's built, if it has good cable management, if it is easy to modify etc.)

I like the way it looks and the inside looks like what a $50 case should look like. None of the cool features but it has what it needs.

Here is a list of all the mother boards on Newegg that work for the AM3 socket processors:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLi ... =20&Page=1

The list is based off the best reviews. When you find a few you like, start doing tons of research so you aren't left disappointed in any way.

As for RAM your best bet is DDR3 and it seems like all AMD boards use dual channel memory so it looks like you will have these options:
- 2x 2GBs sticks. Total of 4GBs
- 2x 4GBs. Total of 8GBs
- 4x 2GBs. Total of 8GBs
- 2x 2GBs sticks and 2x 4GBs sticks. Total of 12GBs
- 4x 4GBs sticks. Total of 16GBs

RAM will be dictated by your budget.

Thanks for the information. With that case I can add a second fan pulling air in from the vent holes on the side correct?

CPU- Will the AMD phenom II x4 give me enough power to multitask? One of my biggest pet peeves is when a computer can't keep up with me.

Thanks again.

Yes to the fan question and yes to the CPU question.

The AMD Phenom II X4 is (from what I can see) is the best CPU AMD offers outside of their 6-core AMD Phenom II X6 (Code name: Thuban)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLi ... ame=Thuban

The Phenom II X4 is a quad core chip made in June of 2010 so it should give you 3 to 4 years of great performance.

Where do you get things from? We don't have anything local, that I know of.

I thought only triple cores could unlock the 4th core. Dual cores have exactly 2 cores on the chip.

Certain dual-core CPUs can unlock to tri or quad-core.
