So, im back.and i needed to document my build.this will be the first time i ever get into this much detail with a car.some may remember my old fastback.

i sold it. (yes i make dumb decisions lol)and i picked up this fastback and a s14 to daily.

so the platform is a 90 fastback with a rb20.

it was pretty gutted.basically a drift car. it has tanabe sustec coils.subframe collarsa welded diffand a bucket seat (which is getting tossed)

i really want to build a clean s chassis and despite the physical appearance of the car its never been wrecked. so off i go.

the tear down.

so the plans are to make a very clean presentable s chassis.i have some parts coming in. and a paint scheme in mind.

for now ill be doing bay prep. making my own power brace.maybe stitchwelding the bay and chassis. and etc. ill keep this thread updated. creative criticism is appreciated. thanks all.

Good luck with the build. Flat black might be cool for the interior just don't paint it any bright colors. My S14 is white and I have my interior gutted the white paint reflects the sun to the window and all I can see is my rear deck in my rear window.

Post some pics of the s14?

the red valve covers with the ribbs are a dead give away. plus its slightly different than mineits not a bad thing, as long as it runs good its a normal rb20. its just a bit older than most*they also came out of the a31*
