Hey guys whats up? ok so here it is, I have my 91 se and im ready for an engine swap and after so many ideas have been tossed around between all the tuner guys and shops that I know around my area i've decided to go with the 1jz in my car. I know of so many ppl that do the RB25 or the SR20 swaps so on and so forth. I wanted to do something diff for myself because no one that I know around here has a 240 with a 1jz and im a big fan of how strong there stock bottom ends are. Any how what im tryin to get at is the biggest thing that im going to be concerned with is all the wiring thats needed. What do you guys think would be the right thing to do so that it going to be dam near plug and play so to speak??? or what should I be careful of??? I was thinking standalone but idk yet. All help and input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

send your wiring out to dr tweak he does good work. you also gotta get custom motor brackets. i used ruckus racing 1jz mounts. zerolift autolab makes the same ones now. these mounts can let you use the stock mounts and the factory crossmember. you HAVE to use a soarer r154 if you wanna save yourself $400 on a extended shifter from tech 2. im have a soarer 1jz so it came with the extended shifter setup. you also might wanna change all the important seals. cam seal valve cover seal front main rear main etc. i would recomend you change the hydraulic water pump to the 2jzgte mechanical water pump. hydraulic water pumps suck on those motors from what i heard. i changed mine before i got to find out. finally MAKE SURE that you have a front sump oil pan setup. you would save yourself money and time. theres more but you will figure out the rest
