1J or SR

I'm looking to build a grip/cornering car out of my s13. I have 2 options for the motor either 1j or sr. which one would be a better choice? would the 1j weight and power make the car lose traction thus making it slower? im thinking around 400hp with the 1jz or 350hp with the sr. sorry if its dumb and confusing to read its kinda late or too early depending on your point of view.

All depends on you, two completely different engines. Do some personal research and figure out what the benefits of both are and make an educated decision.

Which motor threads are a no-no here. Do exactly as Black told you. Nobody here is going to tell you what you should do. You have to come up with that on your own.
