Ok being that my older brother only does dsm cars and I have alot of his extra parts sitting around... I was wondering can I use a 1g fpr on a ca18det because as many high hp dsms I have seen I havent really heard too much of a problem from the fpr. So as a cheap solution I want to use the fpr from a 1g on my ca... yeah the 1g is bigger but I was planning on getting the fuel rail tapped a little bit larger to fit the fpr in there. I was just curious if anyone knows if this will work I believe that both of the motors run off of the same fuel pressure so I dont see why this wont work.

There's nothing wrong with the stock CA fpr which is just as good. The stock regulator do it's job in excess of 400whp applications. Hope this helps ;) .

Ive just always been under the impression that the stock one gets over run by a walbro fuel pump even tho Im going to be using one from a rx7 fd which is a 210... I just wanted something thats going to keep steady pressure.

im sure the stock CA regulator will hold pressure just fine at the power levels Dee said. The walbro definitely overruns the stock regulator causing a rich condition. The pressure is raised but still solid.

It only does it at idle/low load.
