First like to say thanks to everyone here. I havn't posted before but I find tons of information in these forums.

I am currently in the planning stage of my 240. I just recently got a sweet deal (next to nothing) on a SMIC from a 1g Eagle Talon. I know I am going to have to get some piping done. I have searched the forums but havn't been able to determine a couple things. If I have a 1991 240 what kind of piping setup would I have to look at. Has anyone here done it? I am interested in the material used(2.25 inch piping etc.) Where you got the piping done and how much it cost? Basically any info on this install would be of great help.

I have found from the DSM guys that the 1g SMIC rates at about 360 cfm and I had this particular one tested up to 30psi. Any cfm stats available on the stock SMIC? This is all for an SR20DET redtop.

I got a 1g DSM sidemount for $30 planning the same thing, in the end it was cheaper/way easier just to get the stock sidemount and tubing. The DSM unit is definatly better in terms of cooling and capacity, but its not bolt on, which can make it end up costing more than the stock stuff unless you can do your own welding and get piping for cheap.
