what, if any, problems would i run into if i were to put these on my car?

btw im driving a sedan, but it is quite similar to the coupe when it comes to fitting wheels on it.

one more thing, i need a set of BC Racing coils. those of you that have them, how much did you pay, and where did you get it from?

I think you would be safe with a +35mm offset on 19x9 wheels. I am running 19x8.5 +35 offset wheels with 245/35/19 tires.

I agree, though it would be pretty aggressive and some camber would be involved.
I paid $560 for my BC Coils, including install. Then again, I had to trade my stock suspension and drive 6 hours to LA to have it done. I guess I lucked out getting that deal from another NICOnaut!

I'm running 19X9.5 with +35 and it just clears the fenders. Not sure if 45 would fit.

actually if your 35 just clears, then my 45 would clear even more because its a less aggressive offset. also you have 9.5 on yours so that pushes it even more.

ill be going 19x9 +45 offset, with 245/40/19, and ill be rolling on some sticky summer tires.

Take into consideration of backspacing.

well the backspacing on the stock wheels is 153mm (6"), and the wheels that i want to get are at 173mm (6.8"). its not too big of a difference. the question is, will that difference prevent the wheels from fitting on properly?

Just make sure your brake lines and abs are not in the way. And you may run into slight rubbing inside the fender protector if you plan on dropping a good amount(1.5+). But you may get away with BC Racing coilovers since its a pillowball mount allowing it to pivot. Any reason for going +45 offset instead of +35-40? You will be happier with those offsets. I rarely ran into rubbing when I had my +29 offset under hard turns and load. Although I did use -1.5 camber in the front and -2 in the rear.

EDIT: I just looked under my car quickly since I have the stock wheels currently on with BC racing coilovers and dropped roughly 1.75 inch and boy adding another 20mm is going to be very close to the strut.

well the wheel that ive been drooling over for the past 2 weeks and have my mind set on are only available in 19x9 +45. there is a slightly skinnier wheel in the same style 19x8.5 and a +35, but im really looking to get wider wheels so i can fit some fatter tires on there and have better sidewall rigidity.

what if i were to add spacers on along with those wheels? would that be beneficial to the setup at all?

Nothing wrong with adding spacers as long as its a reputable brand, correct sizes(bore, studs, etc..), and installed correctly. But I prefer doing it the right way the first time without using spacers. You can get an idea what a 19x8.5 +35 wrap in 245/35 if you click on my Forgestar wheel link in my signature.
