Im back! Well I was never really gone but I quit being so active in this forum but still lurked every once in a while.

After making some progress these last few months I feel my car is worthy of a new thread. So on with the pics!

Image
Stock zenki. This was back in the summer of 2010.

After graduating and finding a real job I started saving my pennies and was able to fund some nice mods.
Image
PBM coilovers

Image
5 lug swap

Image
I wanted to have a pretty looking MC

Image
Some Megan goodies for the front suspension.

Image
Some Megan goodies for the rear

Image

Image
G35 wheels I bought from another member here

Image
Used a set of PBM wheel spacers to loose the sunken battle ship type look

Image
Bought a pair of Bride seats but the passenger seat was on backorder for a couple of months

Image
Clean imo

Image
Yes that is a Bride dashmat:)

Image
Bride visor to match the rest of mhy interior

Image
Both seats in

Image
Then I picked up these bad boys!

Image
So much grinding and hammering was needed in order. Getting these wheels to fit was a PITD(the D stands for d!ck)

Image
Looking gross. I cleaned things up a bit before slapping on the overfenders.

Image
Stance!

Image
I was a wee bit nervous about cutting into my new cb hood lol I thought it was best to go ahead and do a kouki conversion.

Image
I love this style of hood pins, so much more sleek and sexy.

Mother of god....your car is amazing. If it was all one color it would be perfect.
What wheels are those anyways?

Thanks! They're Kranze LXZ by Weds, I bought them used from a member of a VIP forum. They were on his show car and he gave me a really sweet deal for the wheel/tire set up.

Well I would like to do and LS1 swap but..... It all boils down to how much money I'm willing to spend. I wont be looking into a swap until the after I get it painted, finish the interior and the suspension. If anything though I might end up going with an SR.

I've been tossing around a few ideas for paint. I'm thinking of a nice cadillac pearl white or a dark maroon/burgundy. Any input or other ideas? I definitely want to stay away from any obnoxious colors lol

when this puppy is painted up should look very clean. I am not a huge fan of the wheels, but they are in no way ugly! Just not my style, but keep up the awesome work and post more pics as she comes together! For engines the LS1 would be fun as hell to drive, but I dont like the idea of a big 'merican v8 in a import sports car, again just my $00.2. SR's have tons of aftermarket support and is a solid choice, they are just commonplace and nothing "unique". If you want to be a rebel and go a little more extraordinary drop in a RB or 2jz. RB is a easy swap, but from personal experience, they are a money pit so take that in to account. I really dont know much about 2jz swaps other than that they have been done, make silly power, have aftermarket support and seem legit.
For color I think a graphite/titanium or pearl white would be sexy. Of course black always looks good and has always been my fav. Another option (albeit more extreme and probly more expensive would to do a two tone of black and red or black and white. anywho looks good so far. I am also what widebody fenders ur using and what mm they are.

this is pic of the "two tone" idea i was thinking

not bad! Imo... you need some big aero to pull off those wheels, cuz they look hella big on stock body. and I'm not really diggin that steering wheel set up, but thats just me.

Otherwise, looks good!

^I'm staying away from "aggressive" areo. I don't want my car looking like it came off a set of an f&F movie set... I might go aftermarket with the skirts, I just need to find something that flows well with the jdm bumper and rear valances. I like my gangster wheel set up lol The car looks a bit different in person and the wheels look spot on imo.

As far as the fenders, they are Chargespeed fenders. 20mm wide fender in the front and 50mm wide in the rear. On on that note... I need help! lol I'm just not satisfied with my stance.... before installing the fenders I had my coilovers set as low as possible and was running dam near 0 degrees of camber. However my fenders wont allow this. Even after completly shaving the lip I had to either
A) camber in the wheels a s*** ton or
B) lift the car until my wheels cleared
or
C) A little of both A and B
I went with option C. But like I mentioned earlier, I'm not happy with the stance. I want more lower and less negative camber. So I'm thinking about removing a good 1-2 inches of material from the fender. My question now is.... How do I go about doing this?

Thanks for the feedback guys! Keep the paint ideas and constructive criticism coming!

The roof rack is somewhere between soccer mom and cop, the colors are junkyard fresh, the wheels are strait G.

I like it.

If you wanna roll like a bluehair in a caddy, you could un-space the wheels, and lower it so they're inside the fenders.... but you wouldn't have camber/height problems. Think of it as hellaflush+1.
