All-

Upgraded my 08 G35s sedan 18s to 19s from the coupe. Originals had TPMS and so do the new ones (used). Getting the TPMS light on the dash. Drove it for a few hours, still on. Disconnected the battery for a half hour, lights on to drain whatever's in there, re-connected the battery, drove it for a few more hours (mostly highway), light still on. Tire pressure was just fine the entire time.

Will be able to hook up to a code reader later in the week, but could there be another explanation besides faulty sensors in the 19s? Or, is there some sort of incompatibility between the transmitter and sensors in coupe vs. sedan?

You may have to go to the dealer and have them reprogrammed.

Thanks Red. I'll give them a call and see how much they'll charge vs. me living with it. I'm assuming another option is to swap in the sensors from the original wheels (which I still have), or are the sensors permanently fixed to the wheels from the factory?

They are not permanently fixed, they can be taken off once the tirel is unseated from the wheel.
