Went to Autozone with a "check engine" light on my 1999 QX4. They told me it was likely a bad oxygen sensor, specifically "bank 2, sensor 2." When autozone printed me a general picture off their system so I could see where this oxygen sensor was, their print did not identify a "bank 2, sensor 2" and the guy behind the counter just guessed which one of the four it could be. In addition, I'm not mechanically inclined, but they said this is a job I can do myself. Would anybody have instructions to help me replace this sensor?

bank 2 sensor 2 is the rear oneon the passenger side.

you might call your infiniti dealer about the recall, because the pathfinders and QX4's had a recall on the o2 sensors, where they would reprogram the computer for the o2 sensors, as theres something that causes them. I think it started in 2001 when they switched from teh VG33 to the VQ35, but you might double check... Apparently without the recall the engines eat o2 sensors for lunch, but they last much longer with the fix done.
