1999 q45t tire size question

hi just wondering i have a infiniti q45t tire size 225/50-17 i am looking to switch to winter tires if i put on 225/60-16 would it be ok i think it would be ok wanted a second opinion thansk everyone.

As long as you're putting them on 16" wheels it will be Ok. You can't physically put 16" tires on 17" wheels.

I assume as Kevin pointed out you'd need some 16" rims for those tires, I would think you would want something a little taller like 65 series in the snow, seems like the lower profile the harder to get chains on and stuff, but I think the size itself would be workable on that year Q with no issues.

yea i should have mentioned the tires i will put on a 16 inch rim not trying to stretxh it over a 17 inch lol... thansk for help guys...

We figured that, for snow you want more profile, get 65's.

the non-touring edition uses 215/60--16's. narrower may be better for snow
