I was removing the ps pump yesterday and noticed the 7 bladed cooling fan, which I had to remove, showed some cracks on the outside surface of the hub.I took some pictures but not sure they will show up here. I am wondering if this needs to be replaced. I have done a bit of looking online for this part but have yet to find anyone that has it.

This is a personal opinion but I've seen 3 97's and one 99 and they all had deep cracks in the fans. My Green 97 has been driven 45K miles with many deep cracks but it is structural solid on last inspection.
Kind of like cracks and holes in wood-looks bad but is solid. Now of course if your fan flies into 10,000,000 parts while your looking at it I take back everything I just said.

the risk is the fan coming apart at high RPM, possibly taking out the radiator, shredding the belts, or denting the hood- the unbalanced weight cold also take out the waterpump bearings on the way.If one is too frugal to replace the fan, at least remove it and use some type of glue in the cracks?
By the way, I'm glad to see that you Y33 guys don't get out of all of the fun maintenence us G50 guys have been doing for years. You would think Nissan would figure out how to make better fans after this many years - guess it's a cost/benefit analysis deal. Cost for us, benefit for them...
