How difficult is it to change the starter? The starter is begining to work intermittantly. It starts on the second try.

before you rule the starter you might check the relay....

Starers seldom fail, so be very certain of your diagnosis by eliminating all other possible failures. Even ignition lockset, battery ground, etc.
