My car starts fine when cold. Drives fine 3-5 mins., runs rough and dies. Thought I got water in my gastank. Changed fuel filter and added gas drier called "Seafoam". Spark plugs are new and all electrical appears good. Also adjusted accelerator/idle cable slightly. Still starts fine, runs and dies.

Any ideas or suggestions would be awesome.Mahalo and Aloha
P.S. I do live in the wettest place on earth ; Kauai, water is a serious problem for anything mechanical here.

I think doing a fuel pressure / fuel pressure regulator check is where I would start. You can find the procedure in the engine control (EC) part of the manual.

Thanks for the fuel pressure suggestion. I ended up changing the distributor, cap and rotor. Now the car runs perfect; except, the "SERVICE ENGINE" light is on. Any ideas? Also, can I clear it off the computer or reboot it somehow? Mahalo for your help and or any ideas!

You can have the code read for free at most auto parts stores. They can clear them also.
