Since last week my 4WD 1999 Nissan Pathfinder has been intermittently not starting. It once died while I was at a stoplight and didn't restart - but then it did after a little bit. It turns over, it's getting power from the battery, the spark plugs are firing evenly, the fuel pump makes noise when you turn the key. We replaced the spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, changed the oil, checked and cleaned the battery connections, replaced the distributor cap and rotors (I think that's the name of the part you replace w/the cap). We drove it across 800 miles and had no trouble the whole way here. The last couple of days it has intermittently not started again. Any ideas? We're thinking it is something to do with the fuel injection system - like the engine isn't getting fuel intermittently...We were in Colorado, no we are in the Midwest.130,000 miles.
