Turned the truck over the other day to the blower motor running on full blast. The controls were off. Crazy thing is the blower motor shuts off when the car does otherwise I'd think it was the resistor. I've pulled fuses (all good), the relay (also good), prior to that I also pulled the connection to the climate control reg (the motor still ran full blast), also pulled the connections to the controls (still ran).
The only way I seem to be able to shut it down is pulling the connection to the blower motor itself. Only thing I could assume (doing this without any diagnostic tools) is there is a breach in the wiring. Which doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I'm a gear head, but a self taught one, so I'm hoping maybe someone here has had this experience or is experienced in the field and could throw me a bone....
