you'd need the wiring harness and ecu as well, but yeah you could.

The guy just sold the engine but still has the transmission will the transmission swap(his KA24DE)will it fit (my KA24E) with my transmission on the engine???

You'd have to remove your transmission first, but you could put his transmission on your engine. Sensor connections might be different and require soldering. Is your transmission broken, or you want to switch to automatic? Otherwise I see no reason to do this.
