Last week i had the water pump, thermostat, distributor cap and router, spark plugs and wires, and this week i drove 35 miles just fine, on my way back the car started running badly, stopped at light, blew white smoke, and ultimately overheated on frwy and i stopped the car and hasn't been able to turn over. I pulled the main gas line off and the car actually turned over. I put the line back on and it's almost there. just missing one thing. I know I blew a head gasket but I bought blue devil but can't put it in the car because it won't start. I got all the water out of the car and the 4th cylinder is dry of water. HOW CAN I GET IT TURNED ON PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME. I AM OUT OF IDEAS.

Welcome to Nico! Sorry about your patch of bad luck.

I don't put much faith in any bottle that claims to fix a blown head gasket. IMHO, there is only one way to fix a blown head gasket, pull the head and replace it. I don't know anyone that has used a bottle successfully to fix a head gasket.

Thank you, this is what seems to be the bottom line, I am an optimist and stubborn and a woman so i go at it like there's no tomorrow, but at the end it is inevitable that I have to fix the heads, just don't know how much damage is done. hopefully I can fix it. if not, my next post will be parts for sale. thank you for taking the time to answer me. take care

Those altimas were pretty common, you might be better off just having a whole used engine swapped in. Is the car in good condition/no rust?

Car won't start without compression, need a good seal (gasket) between the head and the block to make compression.

If the head isn't warped thats a very easy motor to work on and you can just replace the gasket.
