Good morning,

My 5 speed 1999 Nissan Altima brake lights wont turn off. I installed a new brake switch, located behind the brake pedal, but the lights still wont turn off. Can anyone help me? is there a relay somewhere?

did you disconnect both switches on the brake pedal and see if they go off.there is a stopper fir the switch on the bracket if the go off while disconnected I would relook at the brake switch may have replaced cruise switch.if they do not go off then I would pull the fuse and if they still stay on I would look for short to ground our power????
