1999 Infinity QX4 w/77K

Just bought a 1999 Infiniti Qx4 w/ 77K, very nice ride.Two questions for the pros-1) How can I increase the horsepower other than a K&N cold air filter ( do performance chips work on this model ?)2) Reccomendations for a stereo upgrade. Should I ditch all the equipment ( speakers, in dash unit etc. ) and start from scratch, or modify what is a decent Bose system.Thanks Everyone !Jim

for performance theres small upgrades you can do, but the mother of all of them that as far as I know is possible is adding the supercharger that was offered on the 3.3L xterras. other than that there isnt much support for us!

Stereo....are you looking for more bass or do you want a super high quality sound? If you like your speakers right now, stick to them and add some subs. thats what pretty much all of us have done. I like my stereo, but bose speakers are just...decent. Had i more cash to blow id upgrade but its $$$.

Pwnin O'Brien recently showed us that we can improve the tweeters by upgrading the capacitors! Dynamat/sound deadening helps, and then youve got a great system.

do you have a shift knob for your 4wd or is it a 99.5 with the switch
