Mission accomplished.... Problem Solved !!!
The reason I suspected the thermostat was because the temp gauge would go from cold to full hot rather quickly and once it got began to warm up while driving it would have a short surge of power then stall, short surge of power and stall repeatedly. Also, the heater would only blow cold air.
I pulled it into the garage, let it cool down completely, opened the radiator cap and started it up, as soon as it began to warm up it would spit coolant and steam from the radiator rather than circulating the coolant.
Anyway, after replacing the thermostat it seems to be just fine now.
Would still like to have the correct manual and will keep watching here for it. meanwhile I will finish downloading the other sections of the '99 Pathfinder as you suggested.

** Edit ** The most difficult part of this job was removing the Fan Shroud. Surprisingly, it went back in a lot easier than it came out.
