So…after replacing the battery, alternator, and now working on the starter, I wonder if anyone has any top tips or insights into removing the starter? I have removed the two main screws and the starter is loose. Upon inspecting the new starter I will replace the old one with, I noticed that i will most likely have to unscrew the positive terminal screw on the solenoid to disconnect the wire…as well as disconnect the harness, or relay (the black, hard plastic plug), to completely remove the old starter? Any tips or advice on a copacetic removal and/or install would be much appreciated, as it is in a most precarious position  Thanks!

Were you able to get this figured out? Unfortunately the only starter I have experience with was on a 65 Mustang  and the FSM is 0 help. You just needed to remove the positive cable, correct?

Yeah I did, finally. Thanks for the reply though ;) I ended up finding the screw, by hand and no visual, but got 'er off! Thanks!
